Rocky Mountain Goats - Print

The Rocky Mountain goat is one of the most magical animals I can think of. They must be some distant relative to the Unicorn, but with two horns... twice the magic. There is this pretty special spot just a few hundred feet from my front door up here on Sugarloaf. It's an amazing quartz deposit that sits up on the top of the ridge. As winter starts to set in, the winds can be ferocious and quite often blow the trees over. The view from my studio window looks out over this ridge and the quartz pile, and it's certainly inspiring. I had to use my imagination to see these mountain goats hanging out over there, but it's not that far of a stretch really :)
