Island in the Sky - Canvas Print

The island in the sky is a camping area just west of town near Moab, UT. While I was in school in Colorado, we would head down to Moab all the time to mountain bike and camp. The Island in the Sky is one of the most amazing camp sites I have ever experienced. The red rocks tower over soft sand on the edge of a cliff band. The view of the La Sal mountain range is completely unobstructed. Watching the full moon rise over the mountains casting light on the red rocks in the middle of the desert is a moving sight. There is absolutely no light pollution. Between the moon and the flames of the fire casting shadows on the rocks, your mind will certainly play tricks on you...
