Guest Artist - Bryce Widom

Announcing our next guest artist @brycewidom!  If you’ve spent time in Boulder, chances are, at some point (probably many:) you’ve visited one of the @mtsun restaurants:) In which case, you’ve most certainly seen some of Bryce’s phenomenal chalk murals.  For the last 20+ years Bryce has been creating his signature chalk pieces to adorn the walls of Boulder’s favorite pubs. 

His process is uncanny.  He will begin these massive and insanely detailed murals after the restaurants close, and work through the night until they open the next morning.  These works will remain up for a few months, and then as the seasons change… he’ll go in and ERASE them!  Only to begin again.  A constant cycle of creation… Over the years there have been hundreds of these pieces. 

For this event at the gallery, Bryce has selected some of his favorites to print as large format canvas giclees.  Never before have these pieces been shown together.  This is an extremely unique opportunity to view, and purchase, a collection of Bryce’s work… brought back from the dust… Please join us for “Chalkboard Revival” Friday, March 6th, 6-8pm!!!
