Dolphins
On my ocean foiling journey, I’ve been fortunate to ride some phenomenal waves. One of which is known as “Lance’s Left” - Coined by none other than Captain Lance Moss, a true OG and legend in the Nica surfing scene. I feel super lucky to have met Lance, James, and their cohorts - who have taught me so much about foiling in the ocean, in such a relatively short amount of time.
There are often surfers on this wave, as it’s a pretty much perfect left point break, shielded from the wind by a cliff band. It’s a rare moment when no one is out, and there’s an opportunity to session it with the jet skis and foils. On my first trip down there, we were fortunate to score a few hours on this beauty. It was magical day! One that will remain engrained in my memory always. It’s hard to beat glassy mornings on Lance’s Left running laps with the squad 🤙
I’ve also always loved Dolphins. They are such incredible animals, with advanced intelligence and communication skills I believe we are FAR from fully understanding - plus I think it’s awesome that they like to shred waves!
