Boulder Rez - Canvas Print

The Boulder Reservoir is a pretty unique place. It's one of the only large-ish bodies of water around Boulder. As such, it creates a crazy juxtaposition of environment and wildlife. It's like the Discovery Channel out there sometimes... fish jumping, hawks diving at the fish, geese flying overhead, pelicans chilling on the shore with the sea gulls and prairie dogs... all with the enormous snow-capped peaks of the continental divide in the distance. It's a most welcome aquatic-oasis in the heat of the high desert. In the summer I'm out there wakeboarding pretty much every day... a place I've come to know well over these past 6 years. It's also one of the best spots to watch the sunset ever :)
