I'm excited to release this special edition water bottle with Epic Water Filters and Protect our Winters!

There’s little that compares to the bliss felt when dropping-in on an untracked pow stash. Flowing in synergy with the snow, the mountain, your body, board, and gravity… everything else fades away, and you feel at one with the universe. Much like the first lines on a blank canvas, the only limits are those of the imagination.

I will be forever grateful to my parents for raising my brothers and I on the shores of Lake Tahoe. Getting to snowboard every day was an extreme blessing. I can remember many mornings huddled around the radio (these were the days long before the internet or social media… I know, I’m old) listening intently for the notifications of school closures. Back then, it was not uncommon for it to dump 4-6 feet of snow in a single storm. All of the roads in and out of town would be blocked, and the only people that could make it to the slopes were the locals. There were days we would be the only ones in line when the chairs started turning, or first to the lots for the backcountry spots… it’s the stuff dreams are made of.

I hope these feelings of bliss, these dreams of deep pow days, are things I get to pass on to my son, and all generations to follow. With the effects of climate change coming to a head, I feel it’s super important to embrace whatever actions we can to reduce our carbon footprint. I’m stoked to release this piece in partnership with Epic Water Filters and Protect our Winters to help raise awareness and funding for the incredible work they are both doing in this field. Together we can make an impact. Together we can protect and preserve our environment, and ensure our kids also get to experience the joy of a killer pow day 🤘❄️🤘
